Review scope

Technical estimating and package review support with clear boundaries.

VASCO Technical Services supports package clarity, RFQ readiness, technical estimating inputs, vendor communication, and production-focused review before packages move into quoting or fabrication.

How we help

VASCO Technical Services focuses on package clarity, vendor communication, and production readiness.

Before a drawing package goes out for quote, VASCO Technical Services reviews the information from the perspective of the shops and suppliers expected to quote, fabricate, machine, weld, assemble, and deliver the work.

We look for missing requirements, unclear scope, cost drivers, vendor questions, and documentation gaps that can slow down quoting or create preventable issues later.

Practical background

Juan J. Mejia Vasco

Manufacturing Specialist | Founder, VASCO Technical Services

Focus Area Through his work with aerospace-related projects, Juan has developed a strong understanding of how technical packages move from drawings and RFQs into quoting, procurement, fabrication, machining, welding, inspection, assembly, and delivery. His experience reviewing drawings, BOMs, hardware requirements, GD&T callouts, vendor questions, and manufacturability concerns allows him to identify the types of issues that can delay quotes, increase costs, create shop-floor confusion, or lead to rework.
What He Does Juan is the founder of VASCO Technical Services, bringing practical experience from aerospace and industrial manufacturing projects involving ground support equipment, fabricated assemblies, hardware, tooling, and vendor-ready production packages. His background includes technical estimating, CAD documentation, drawing review, BOM and hardware review, vendor coordination, and manufacturing support.

His experience has given him a direct understanding of how unclear drawings, incomplete BOMs, missing hardware details, undefined fabrication requirements, and unanswered vendor questions can affect quoting, procurement, fabrication, inspection, assembly, and delivery. At VASCO Technical Services, Juan applies that manufacturing-focused perspective to help clients improve the clarity, completeness, and vendor-readiness of their technical packages before they move into quoting or production.
